信用担保合约的定价

随着信用担保行业的不断发展,作为高风险行业,对其担保合约的科学定价以覆盖其担保失败的损失,显得极为重要。利用信用担保合约与信用违约互换的支付函数的同构性,构建适当的信用违约互换合约及模拟信用担保公司的信用担保合约,以信用违约互换的定价方式为信用担保公司的信用担保合同进行定价,更能体现出定价模型对担保合约定价的客观性、科学性和准确性。     

论股东派生诉讼与集团诉讼的结合

股东派生诉讼制度与集团诉讼制度有密切的联系。我国在建构股东派生诉讼制度的过程中应注意其与集团诉讼制度的结合。在股东派生诉讼中,原告股东应有广泛的代表性;公司和法院对于原告的起诉应当发布公告;公司原告的撤诉与和解应保障其他股东的知情权;派生诉讼的判决和法院批准的和解协议对全体股东均有约束力。

大力发展外汇衍生类产品业务是我国商业银行和涉外企业的战略选择。外汇衍生类产品业务在我国仍处于发展的初级阶段，存在着很多亟待解决的问题，只有采取加快人才培养、加大监管力度、完善金融市场等措施，才能实现快速发展。

广交会自1957年建成以来在各级领导关心下已经历了45年的发展壮大,取得了丰硕的成果,在国内外享有盛名。然而,由于其本身还存在不少缺陷,加之受到国内外展览业的强劲挑战,迫切要求加快广交会的改革。利用新制度经济学的基本原理,对广交会的内外环境作了详尽分析,认为广交会要保持领先地位,必须加强制度创新。     

Strategizing Environmental Policy and Compliance for Firm Economic Sustainability: Evidence from Taiwanese Electronics Firms

This study aims to examine whether the compliance of environmental policies can sustain firm economic performance, and whether a timing issue is relevant to firm economic sustainability in pursuit of eco‐friendly efforts. Offering models predominantly based on the institutional theory, this study tests hypotheses using data from 284 companies in the electronics sector in Taiwan during the period from 1997 to 2010. The findings reveal that the execution of environment policies mostly improves firm economic sustainability and some joint green efforts can even strengthen such sustainability; however, firms aiming to sustain their economic performance should not hasten to undertake eco‐friendly efforts, implying that first movers may not be guaranteed firm economic performance. Thus, managers should carefully strategize their green efforts to comply with environmental policies, and execute them in due course to prevent disadvantages, such as market uncertainty and complexity of green practices, while conquering organizational inertia. A transform approach to compute prices and Greeks of barrier options driven by a class of Lévy processes

In this paper we propose a transform method to compute the prices and Greeks of barrier options driven by a class of Lévy processes. We derive analytical expressions for the Laplace transforms in time of the prices and sensitivities of single barrier options in an exponential Lévy model with hyper-exponential jumps. Inversion of these single Laplace transforms yields rapid, accurate results. These results are employed to construct an approximation of the prices and sensitivities of barrier options in exponential generalized hyper-exponential Lévy models. The latter class includes many of the Lévy models employed in quantitative finance such as the variance gamma (VG), KoBoL, generalized hyperbolic, and the normal inverse Gaussian (NIG) models. Convergence of the approximating prices and sensitivities is proved. To provide a numerical illustration, this transform approach is compared with Monte Carlo simulation in cases where the driving process is a VG and a NIG Lévy process. Parameters are calibrated to Stoxx50E call options.

上市公司使用金融衍生产品动机的实证研究

对中国上市公司的实证研究表明：公司规模越大，越倾向于使用金融衍生产品。大公司更加愿意使用衍生产品的原因主要在于规模效应，其具有信息和成本方面的规模经济。目前阶段中国上市公司使用衍生产品还处于初级阶段，公司使用衍生产品进行套期保值的数量和程度都不高，并且操作水平或风险控制存在问题，经常遭遇重大损失，多数公司还没有意识和能力进行有效的风险管理活动，因此西方财务理论的相关结论在目前中国并不成立。     

Modelling inflation shifts and persistence in Tunisia: perspectives from an evolutionary spectral approach

This article examines the dynamic characteristics of the inflation rate in Tunisia over the last two decades, and particularly following the onset of the Arab Spring in 2010 which causes distortions in this country’s monetary policy. We focus on the two specific dimensions of the Tunisian inflation rate: inflation regimes and persistence. We tackle this issue by adopting an evolutionary spectral approach, initially proposed by Priestley and Tong (1973). Our main findings indicate a stable inflation regime in the last 10 years, with an average inflation rate of around 5.5%. It is also found that the Tunisian inflation experienced a high degree of inertia which reflects its gradual responses to shocks. We also discuss the policy implications of these results, which typically require policy-makers to implement sound institutional reforms to reduce inflation.     

Pricing the Chicago Board of Trade T-Bond futures

The aim of this paper is to investigate the pricing of the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) Treasury-Bond futures. The difficulty in pricing it arises from its multiple inter-dependent embedded delivery options, which can be exercised at various times and dates during the delivery month. We consider a general Markov diffusion process model for stochastic interest rates and propose a pricing algorithm that can handle all the delivery rules embedded in the CBOT T-Bond futures. Our procedure combines dynamic programming, finite-elements approximation, and fixed-point evaluation. Numerical illustrations are provided under the one-factor Vasicek and Cox–Ingesoll–Ross models, and under the time in-homogeneous Hull–White model.
